"Lux" is a pastel sketch I made of prayer candles at night in a cathedral in Aix-en-Provence, France
"Cranberries" became the artwork for the cover of my Christmas "card" CD a couple of years ago "World's End" is a line of trees at the edge of a cliff on Lake Erie, New York "Ice Wine" is a muted-tone representation of grapes left on the vine in a vinyard in Ripley "St. Katharine" is a pastel sketch of doilies in honor of St. Katharine's Day in December "Ornaments" is an autumn portrait of seed balls left on a bare tree "Lichen" was drawn from life; they were growing on a hollow log in the woods of Lily Dale, New York "St. Clement" is in honor of another Feast Day in December "Lake Trees" is an abstract drawn from life at beautiful Lake Erie State Park in New York "Trees in November" is inspired by a line in "Watership Down" - "Like trees in November" "Just Stones" is a colorful collection of beach stones All artwork on this page is (c) 2010 Lewis A.
